Nicolle Jenkins - Managing Director

Managing Director of The Hub Marketing Communications, Nicolle has spent more than two decades in the marketing and communications industry throughout Australia, with management positions in the corporate and not-for-profit world. Nicolle is a certified practicing marketer with the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI).
Nicolle has extensive experience in senior management, providing leadership and management expertise across all aspects of business development, strategy, design, marketing and communication. Nicolle was the former Vice President and Board Director of Surf Life Saving WA. Currently Nicolle is Vice Chair of the Small Enterprise Network (SEN) which is part of the CCIWA.
Prior to starting The Hub, Nicolle was the former Marketing Communications Manager of the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre where she led the development of the venue’s brand, marketing and communications strategies and managed official opening celebrations.
Before the PCEC, Nicolle was the General Manager of a top four Queensland consultancy, State PR Manager for the Heart Foundation and Media Manager for Surf Life Saving Queensland.
As a journalist, Nicolle has freelanced for magazines, newspapers and radio and was part of the 2000 Olympic Games in an international media role. Nicolle was a business columnist for Perth based magazine VITA and also wrote for an Eastern States women's business magazine VIVE. She currently writes for a number of travel magazines and newspapers.
In 2011, Nicolle was selected as a finalist in the Telstra Business Woman of the Year awards (business owner category).

Jen Calnan - Marketing Communications Manager

Marketing Communications Manager for The Hub, Jen Calnan, has more than 14-years experience in marketing, communications and business development, including international roles in London and Sydney, across the financial and professional services industries.
Jen’s experience includes strategy development and implementation, communications, events management, research analysis, sponsorship and bid strategy planning.
She offers a distinctly consultative approach to client partnerships and is well-known for providing practical, yet strategic solutions based on her client’s business direction and audience profile. Jen is a proactive and focused individual who is committed to achieving success for her clients.
Prior to joining The Hub, Jen was the Business Development Manager (WA) for a national law firm, managing the firm’s brand profile and image, sponsorship portfolio, events schedule and client business development strategies. She has previously held senior roles at DLA Phillips Fox and HWL Ebsworth Lawyers in Sydney and AXA Rosenberg Investment Management in London.

Chevon Brooks - Marketing Communications Manager

Chevon Brooks, Marketing Communications Manager for The Hub, has a wealth of marketing and communications experience encompassing the development of strategic marketing, advertising and public relations campaigns. Working for clients ranging from State and Federal Government, not-for-profit, private sector and international companies Chevon has built a reputation for helping clients to achieve their campaign goals and delivering sound marketing communication strategies.
Chevon has worked in the industry for more than five years developing campaigns in line with strategic marketing and public relations initiatives. She has created innovative campaigns utilising social media strategies to great effect for a number of clients.
With previous experience as a Senior Account Manager at a Perth based advertising agency, Chevon has honed skills in providing proactive marketing and communications solutions for a diverse range of clients. Chevon has specialised experience developing strategies that maximize return on marketing investment for clients. Her commitment to the community sees her acting, in a voluntary capacity, as the Press and Public Relations Officer – WA for the international, not-for-profit children’s charity, Radio Lollipop.

Amanda Meldrum - Public Relations Coordinator

Public Relations Coordinator at The Hub, Amanda’s varied experience has seen her develop a highly diverse skill set on both the account management and creative side, with a particular knack for media relations, copywriting, integrated campaign management, event coordination, and creative campaign ideation. She has a natural ability to build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, along with a valuable understanding and insight into cultural sensitivities due to her nomadic upbringing which saw her live in Egypt, Tunisia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Greece. This time spent overseas has also provided her with a unique perspective and chameleon-like ability to adapt to ever changing situations. Her professional, proactive, and results-driven approach makes her a highly effective PR professional.
A passion for writing led Amanda to the University of Western Australia where she acquired a Double Major in English and Anthropology, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Business (Public Relations) at Curtin University of Technology, where she was awarded the School of Marketing Prize as the best graduating student in her course. Armed with her university qualifications and a wealth of ambition, she went on to consult to a number of businesses, whilst satisfying her enduring love of writing with freelance work. The past four years have seen Amanda work in both PR and Advertising managing a number of accounts including two of Perth’s major shopping centres and two prominent property clients. She has also worked on a number of other accounts in the retail, local government and health sectors.

Hannah Beazley - Marketing Communications Manager

Hannah Beazley, Marketing Communications Manager at The Hub has spent more than a decade working in the marketing and communications industry with extensive experience in small to medium sized enterprises and the public and private sectors.
Recently Hannah managed her own retail and online business, the success of which incorporated superior understanding and knowledge regarding the provision of targeted strategies across non-traditional and traditional media to a range of audiences.
Prior to joining The Hub, Hannah was the Marketing and Development Manager for Penrhos College. In this role Hannah was responsible for creating and defining the College’s long-term marketing and communications strategy, managing the alumni relations program, developing and maintaining the College website and establishing community stakeholder relations.
Previously Hannah was the Master Franchisee of Wedding List Co., Australia’s leading bridal registry service, which combined a strong online focus with a traditional retail presence. She oversaw the significant growth and success of this business during the global financial crisis. A key success factor was effectively building and managing relationships with clients and a multitude of suppliers.
Notably, Hannah honed her superior copywriting skills after three years as Speechwriter and Senior Policy Adviser to former Premier of Western Australia, Dr Geoff Gallop. In addition to researching and copywriting, Hannah was involved in creating the strategic direction of State election campaigns and facilitating cross-Government policy development.
Hannah works closely with Hub clients to create efficient and effective integrated marketing communications campaigns across a variety of mediums.
