GROW

The Hub Marketing Communication chose Grow WA as their official charity for 2007. We decided to select an organisation currently underfunded and struggling to meet the needs of the community both financially and non-financially.

Did you know that one in five Australians will suffer a mental illness in their lifetime! 

GROW WA runs a motivating 12-Step Program which encourages sufferers to candidly face their flaws and their strengths and GROW their mental and emotional maturity so that they are able to face the future with optimism and increased confidence.

The 12-Step Program is delivered in a non-threatening and supportive ‘group setting’ and GROW members often find the friendship and understanding offered by fellow and past sufferers at their group is the most healing aspect of the Program.

Apart from their weekly two hourly meetings, GROW also provides social activities, training, live in weekends and runs its own fund raising events. GROW offers research validated, consumer driven recovery program developed over 50 years of operation.
