PROJECT MUPAPA
‘Making a difference to the sustainable self-sufficiency of Zambia and to the survival of its children.’
About Project Mupapa, Zambia 2006
Mupapa is a village in Zambia. Right now, a child under five dies every three seconds because they lack simple vaccinations and educations, adequate food and clean water. This isn't a game about survival - these statistics represent real poverty.
It doesn't have to be this way – Project Mupapa ask for your support to assist in providing sustainable self-sufficient facilities and tools for their survival.
100% of what is raised for Project Mupapa goes directly where it is needed the most - to the Mupapa village and its children. The project is run by a small group of Western Australian volunteers who visit the village of Mupapa annually to build orphanages, establish water tanks, create agriculture and food sources, supply medical equipment and education materials – the basic necessities of life.
The Hub Marketing Communications' Director, Nicolle Jenkins is part of the project team for 2006. The Hub has guided the project in all marketing requirements including assistance in promoting the project and developing sponsorship proposals.
